The Tselukhins are a special family! Iryna and the late Vitalii became parents for a family-type orphanage. The couple took in their first children — a boy Ruslan and his older sister Yuliia — in 2011, having already two children of their own. After Ruslan and Yuliia, the family was joined by a girl, who was taken by the couple from the tuberculosis dispensary, where she was placed after the residents found her in the basement of the house. Later, the couple adopted Sasha, Misha, Yarik, Nastia, Mariika, Vika and other children. People tried to persuade the Tcelukhins not to take in the girl Vika, because the child has a severe form of astigmatism, but the disease did not stop the couple.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the family decided to stay at home. They took care of each other, volunteered and prayed for the end of the war. But every day the situation in Rubizhne was becoming more dangerous. After one of the boys they had sheltered was wounded by shrapnel during another shelling, the family decided to get evacuated.
All except the father of the family... He stayed to take care of the house so that after the war their children would have a place to return to. But the man failed to protect his home and himself. One of the shelling rounds caused a fire, which Vitalii tried to put out, but the next shell hit him...
Now the family are living in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The local community offered them a small apartment of 44 square meters, but it is difficult to live there all together, with the old grandfather Tselukhin, who was also evacuated from the Luhansk region.
Therefore, a famous Ukrainian TV presenter Kateryna Osadcha together with our Charitable Foundation "Your Support" is announcing a collection of UAH 3.2 million to buy a new house, which these children, who have lost both their father and home for the second time, need so much. 
This is the first family from the large-scale project "Home for Children", which was launched by the TV presenter and the Foundation to purchase houses for large Ukrainian families who lost their homes and loved ones during the war.
Concerning the Tselukhins family — it will not be the house that the late father of the family built with his own hands, but it will be a new place where children and their mother will feel protected.
